Malcolm Todd

Malcolm Todd, FSA (27 November 1939 – 6 June 2013) was a British historian and archaeologist with an interest in the interaction between the Roman Empire and Western Europe.
==Early life==
Todd was born on 27 November 1939 in Durham, England, to Wilfrid Todd, a miner, and his wife Rose Evelyn Todd. He was educated at Henry Smith School, a grammar school in Hartlepool, County Durham.〔
He then read classics at the St David’s College, Lampeter, part of the University of Wales. He graduated in 1960 Bachelor of Arts (BA).〔〔 He then attended Brasenose College, Oxford where he studied under Ian Richmond for a diploma in classical archaeology (DipArchaeol).〔〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://people.exeter.ac.uk/tjrees/pl94bjw/mtodd.html )〕 He achieved a distinction.〔
